In reinforced concrete structures, gaps are left to allow for movement due to factors like temperature changes without affecting the structure's stability. These gaps are known as expansion joints. Expansion joint strips are used to waterproof these gaps. Made from thermoplastic elastomers, these strips are resistant to UV rays and outdoor conditions, and have high resistance to tearing and puncturing. They consistently exhibit elastic properties in conjunction with the movement of the structure and can be used in all reinforced concrete structures.
